Brooklyn Rugby Club’s annual Beach 5s tournament returns for its 12th year on Sunday, June 1st, 2025, at legendary Coney Island, NY.
What better way to kick off your summer than to hang out with ruggers on the beach in our annual 5v5 all gender touch rugby tournament?

Registration
- Regular price: $250 (by May 24th)
- Late entry: $275 (by May 30th)
- Individual entry: $25 (day-of registration allowed)
- Spectators: $10 social fee, game viewing is free
- Entry includes free social post-tournament!
Tournament Rules
- Games are 10 minutes (5 minute halves)
- Teams can have a maximum of 12 players and must have 2 women, trans, or non-binary (W/T/NB) players on the pitch at all times
- Tries are worth 2 points for W/T/NB scorers and 1 point for male scorers
- 6 touches or attempts allowed before possession changes
- Dummy players (scrumhalf) cannot score
- Rolling substitutions

- Subway: 20-minute walk from Coney Island – Stillwell Ave station (D/F and N/Q lines).
- Bus: Nearby B36 stop (Surf Ave & West 32nd Street)
- Driving: Exit 6 on Belt Parkway (travel advisory for BQE)
Check-in is at 10am and teams must be on-site by 10:30am. Inclement weather date is Saturday, June 7th.
