We are Brooklyn Rugby
Brooklyn Rugby is the sole rugby union club representing the borough. We field two adult teams, Brooklyn Men’s Rugby and the Brooklyn Hyenas, as well as the addition of a youth rugby program in 2023.
Brooklyn Hyenas compete at the Division 2 Women’s Level and Brooklyn Men’s Rugby competes at the Division 3 Men’s Level in the Empire Rugby Geographic Union (EGU).

Want to get started with Rugby? Looking to dust off your boots for another season?
Our men’s and women’s+ teams are always looking for new players. Training is open to players of any positions or skill levels. We welcome all newcomers, even those completely new to the game of rugby.
No tryouts required, just come out to practice. We look forward to seeing you!
