Open Coaching Position
Brooklyn Hyenas are searching for a new coach.
About the Club
Since 2008, Brooklyn Rugby has been the sole rugby union club representing the borough, fielding both a men’s and women’s side since 2010. Brooklyn Women’s Rugby competes at the Division 2 Level in the Empire Rugby Geographic Union (EGU) against other teams within NYC and the greater tri-state area, with occasional travel for games or tournaments outside of the EGU. The competitive 15s season takes place in the fall, with developmentally focused spring 15s and summer 7s seasons.
Brooklyn Rugby fosters an inclusive environment for players from all backgrounds. The women’s team welcomes trans and gender nonconforming players and maintains the stance that rugby should be fun and accessible to everyone. Training is open to players of all positions and skill levels.
